I have been making changes to the site as well... Getting rid of old news stories here on the front page so its easier to read... Locking down some areas so that you must be a registered user to access them... This was because a lot of spam was getting through the email system and to just protect everyone's privacy :)
If anyone is having any problems with stuff I'm changing please let me know! throw me an email at gehn@companions.org!

I put up a new poll, I want you all the participate if you can... I need to know what days are good for everyone to join us for meetings... Schedules change... life changes... stuff happens... so Sundays might not be the best day anymore

Ohio Renessaince Festival |

If you want to go, what would be the best weekend, 2nd best, and 3rd best.
Personally, I want to go in September as I can celebrate both my birthday and divorce. :-p

Wisk writes "If you are using windows 2000 or XP, go to microsoft.com and patch your OS right away. There is a new worm out there that exploits a hole in windows to infect your machine with NO USER ACTION required. It infects a new system and then starts searching random IP addresses for another vulnerable system. When it finds it, it downloads the file to your computer and runs it. Thereby infecting your machine. Also, on Aug. 16th the infected machines will start a denial of service attack on microsoft.com.
The biggest problem I had with this was it caused me to go LD alot in EQ and every now and then my computer would crash and reboot.

You will not be safe from this worm until you patch windows so do that right after you remove the virus.
